“THE RATIONALE – Over the past couple of years, I have reviewed our staff workload at Eastfield on a regular basis. Alongside the national debate about workload, what I feel is really needed, is much more fundamental change. Additionally, I think that we need to get assessment and accountability mechanisms back into perspective, making them more manageable; more human in fact! At Eastfield we always put children and staff at the heart of every decision we make. We continue to have a relentless focus on learning.
