Larkspur pupils support Children in Need

Children at Larkspur Primary Academy in Ware have been helping to raise money for BBC’s Children in Need.

On Friday, pupils wore pyjamas for the day in exchange for donations. They also took part in a variety of fun activities to learn more about the charity event, which supports children and young people across the UK.

Headteacher Kerry McEwan explains: “Children in Need is an iconic event and we wanted to do something to mark the occasion and help raise funds for this important cause.

“The children had a great time coming to school in their pyjamas and getting involved in different activities, such as Pudsey-related arts and crafts.”
