Keeping Enfield Clean and Green

Congratulations to Violet, from Eastfield Primary School, who was one of the winners of the Keep Enfield Clean and Green Poster Competition!

Violet, aged 10, wants to encourage dog owners to be more considerate. She says: “I have two cockerpoos myself and I get really cross when people don’t clean up after their dogs. If you have a dog, you should be able to take responsibility.”

Violet used bright colours to draw attention to her poster, which will now be screen printed on bins in local parks to encourage residents to take better care of the borough’s green spaces. She was one of three winners chosen from Enfield schools.

She says: “It’s strange to think that my design will be seen all over Enfield but it’s so exciting and I’m really proud. I hope that dog owners will take notice.”
