Ivy schools feature on BBC programme

Two Ivy Learning Trust schools featured on the latest episode of the BBC’s See Hear programme.

Presenter Deepa Shastri visited Brimsdown and Woodside Primary Schools to learn more about how we’re teaching British Sign Language (BSL) to pupils. She observed lessons in action, spoke to children and interviewed our BSL Manager Tina Kemp and CEO Matthew Kleiner-Mann.

There are many advantages to learning BSL, not just for deaf children but for hearing children too. It was a pleasure to show Deepa and the BBC Team our work.

You can watch the programme here (our schools feature towards the end of the episode).
