‘A friendly and highly inclusive school’
Congratulations to Lavender Primary School on its latest Ofsted report. Lavender was previously rated Good, and inspectors confirmed that it has maintained this standard, praising the dedicated pastoral care, high ambitions and strong programme for personal development.
The report says: “This is a friendly and highly inclusive school where everyone is valued and diversity is celebrated. Staff and pupils appreciate the dedicated pastoral care the school provides. There is a calm and nurturing atmosphere in lessons, where pupils behave well and can focus on their learning without disruption.
“The Trust and the school share high ambitions and expectations for all pupils to succeed. Pupils develop a broad body of knowledge across a range of subjects. They achieve well from their starting points and are well prepared for secondary school.”
The report adds: “Pupils play happily together at playtime and enjoy the range of activities on offer. They love coming to school every day.”
