Parents and grandparents join writing morning
Parents and grandparents at The Wroxham School went back to class for a morning after being invited to come and do some writing with their children.
This month marks the birthday of A.A Milne and to celebrate this event, the school hosted a Winnie-the-Pooh themed writing session. The children invited their family members to come to school for the morning to write with them and the response was overwhelming.
Headteacher Roger Billing says: “The day was amazing, with around 90 parents and grandparents coming in to write with their children. All of the work that was produced is going to be put into a school book and we will have copies in the library.”
A.A Milne was born on 18 January 1882 and was best known for his books about the cuddly, honey-loving bear Winnie-the-Pooh.
