Peartree children support Dementia Action Week

Pupils at Peartree Primary School showed their support for Dementia Action Week with a special display at their local library.
Children participated in action pledges and coloured in forget-me-not templates, which were used to create a beautiful display at Welwyn Garden City Central Library.
Twelve children from the school visited the library to create the display and were joined by Councillor Russ Platt. Last year, their efforts were displayed in the town’s shopping centre.
Dementia Action Week, which runs from 15-21 May, raises awareness of dementia, its symptoms and the support available, and this year’s theme is dementia diagnosis.
